I was, and I think I have found the answer.

Danby Castle!

Located in the north Yorkshire moors overlooking the Esk Vally, Danby castle is part castle/part ruin and uniquely different!

They are licenced to hold civil ceremonies in the fabulous (and my personal favourite) 15^th century court room which is still home to the manorial court Leet, also the wheelhouse which houses the stage and dance floor and the Threshing Barn which is also the bar.

At Danby castle you also get exclusive use, so no general public, prying eyes or your guests wandering into the wrong reception!

At Danby castle you can choose to have your very own tea party! With all the trimmings, just see the picture above.

Hi everybody sorry for the delay from the last post it’s been a crazy month!

I have been a busy bee! Attending a recent fair at the amazing Danby castle just outside Whitby. If you’re looking for a unique and beautifully quirky venue for your wedding this is a must see.

Watch out for my post "all about Danby castle” next week I will have lots of picks and information for you.

I have also been to the national wedding show at the NEC in birmingham which was brilliant to see the best of the bridal world in britan today!
